Responsibilities:
Completes all processes with reference to daily/weekly sales, as well as longer term plans.
Reporting and effectively communicate all key information in trading meeting to Buyer and Directors.
Generate ideas and suggestion to impact the business with reference to promotions and mark downs.
Provides SWOT analysis on designated categories.
Monitors and maintains stocks as per KPI’s set and manages open to buy accordingly.

We are currently looking for an Experienced Garment Technologist to join our clients' busy head office team.
The Role:
Responsibility of working with a number of retailers – aiming for a right first time approach.
Creating workbooks/ specs for costings and buying samples
Requesting of sealing samples and initial patterns, from offshore manufacturers. Measuring and checking of garments, internal approvals where necessary samples fitted with retailers in person or over VC, and sending comments out to the factories.
Working closely with the factories to ensure that the product meets Retailer & Legal requirements, and necessary risk assessments are carried out.
Administration of the critical path
Submission of final production samples and relevant documentation.
Creating print patterns on Optitex for the design team to set up print packs
Working on Optitex 3D to create patterns for design and development
About you:
We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team, with a positive attitude.
Confident and clear communication skills, both verbal and written, with manufacturers, retailers and within the office environment.
Someone who is well organised and flexible, with a logical and analytical mind, and excellent administration skills
Someone who works well under pressure, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
Full driving licence is essential.
Knowledge of 3D software, ie Optitex/ Browzwear/ CLO, would be advantageous.

We are recruiting a ladies multi-product Garment Technologist for a leading Retailer who are going through a huge period of growth. Candidates must have a broad knowledge of multi-product with a minimum of 12 months experience. This role would suit candidates who are a good team player with a proactive approach to technical product development.
Responsibilities include:
Provide technical information to design and development packs, including but not restricted to measurements, block and construction details, to facilitate prototype development
Fittings samples with the design and development team and ensuring the product fit is consistent across all categories
Fitting and approval of bulk samples, preparing graded size charts for production to ensure a consistent fit across all sizes
Input accurate details to the critical path taking a sample from prototype to bulk production.
Alert the relevant buying, product development and production teams of any issues that may cause a delay to the agreed delivery date
Supplier management. Maintain a regular contact with suppliers and factories throughout production and address any technical issues to ensure shipment dates are achieved
Review production/shipment samples to confirm they adhere to all agreed standards of fit, quality, labelling and packaging.
Assessing final AQL inspection reports where applicable and liaise with the production department to maintain required ex-factory dates
Skills and experience required
Previous experience working as a Garment Technologist is required
Excellent knowledge of Ladieswear, fitting and construction
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
The ability to work independently within a team environment

This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills, as well as a deep understanding of the products or services being offered.
Key Accountabilities/Primary Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and suppliers
Acquire new business with potential future customers, further develop and retain business with existing customers
Organise and attend new and existing customer meetings throughout the UK to maximise sales opportunities
Develop customer account plans and strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager for our client who is an expanding supplier of Homewares. This hybrid position will manage the day to day running of a major account, meeting agreed KPIs to deliver exemplary service and meet customer expectations.
Key Tasks
Arranging, attending, and documenting category meetings both in house and with the customer, identifying actions, facilitating customers’ requests and ensuring we deliver to their requirements
Support our Design and Buying teams by providing relevant data and product knowledge to drive profit positive new development that meets the customer’s strategic brief
Negotiate prices to our costing methodology, to arrive at the agreed margin and present to Senior Management team for sign off.
Build a comprehensive knowledge of the given product categories through competitor analysis and benchmarking. Present findings to internal stake holders and the customer seasonally, to demonstrate a full understanding of the categories in terms of scale and opportunity.
Drive the Pre-Production process from concept through to delivery to store, ensuring stakeholders have completed all aspects of the critical path on time and raising any concerns to Senior Management prior to final deadlines.
Completing all customer related product documentation on time, in detail and to the requirements, gathering information from relevant stake holders where needed.
Working as part of the wider Dunelm team across all areas of the business from Design, QC, Merchandising, Accounts and Warehousing completing and updating all required documents accurately to ensure processes are followed and stakeholders are fully updated on the customers present requirements.
Experience
Ideally at least 5 years’ experience of working within Supply Chain and progressed to Account Manager Level.
Ideally having worked with High Street / Supermarket retailers and have experience of leading supplier meetings with Head office peers
Ideally having worked in a stock holding business and have an understanding of the complexities of being part of a DTS supply team.
Must have an understanding of Far East manufacturing including costs / moqs / lead-time’s
Must have a solid understanding of and be able to create and drive a critical path
Must be confident with costings. Taking quoted prices, adding associated costs, having the ability to take action to arrive at an agreeable margin and have excellent attention to detail to ensure costs are logged and kept updated accurately
Previous experience within the home textile / ceramic product areas preferred but not essential
