A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Designer. You will be: Ensure high service levels are provided and newness in design is given. Proficient in Adobe Software, including Illustrator and Photoshop (minimum 2-3 years’ experience) See concept designs through to production, working closely with buyers and factories to ensure the brief is met. Work closely with technologists and merchandisers, to ensure products fit and find solutions to any problems in production. Researching trends, and creating mood boards for new projects and seasons ahead. Collaborate with other creatives in the Design team to ensure a common vision and consistent branding across the business. Attending customer meetings and prepare for presentations. Design to a brief and amend as buyer requests, display experience of liaising with buyers requests and demands. Creating exclusive designs, with awareness of cost and factory restrictions. Prepare design packs, including technical drawing and size specs. Thorough understanding of the current market and research of retailers to ensure handwriting is in line. Manage day to day work load, working closely with buyers and factories to ensure deadlines are met for samples and designs. Develop new products with the factories from research, requesting new fabrics and embellishments. Reasonable travel, including factory visits and regular comparative shopping in the UK and overseas. We are looking for a HR Advisor to join their HR team at their Head Office. A rapidly expanding company, the successful candidate will play an intricate part in an evolving team to fully support the HR function throughout the business. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; • To maintain all HR systems ensuring data and records are accurate and up to date • Reporting data and creating excel spreadsheets • Developing job descriptions and person specifications • Preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short listing and sifting CV's, interviewing and selecting candidates • Liaison with recruitment agencies • To produce and issue offer letters and employee contracts • Liaising with Hiring Managers for vacancies in Head Office and in Stores • Introduce new employees to the company and walk them through the induction • To ensure all new starter paperwork is completed and relevant information provided to Payroll • To provide line manager with new starter documents to ensure a smooth on boarding process for the new employee • Managing the HR inbox • Responsible for the organization of Agency staff by liaising with the Agency Company and Warehouse Management • To administer starter/leaver processes • Supporting and leading Formal Meetings, such as disciplinary, grievances and flexible working applications • Organisation of HR documents in preparation for meetings (invite letters and outcome letters) • Advising employee and Line Managers on all HR related queries. Confident in chairing ER related meetings such as disciplinaries • Liaise with Payroll regarding relevant employee information, for example employee absence • Support in revising Company policies, procedures and employee handbook • Respond to reference requests • Ensure electronic and paper based personnel files are maintained and filing/archiving is completed in a timely manner • Support Payroll when required About you: • Previous experience of working within a HR environment • Familiarity with the full recruitment and selection cycle • Advanced in excel and able to do Macros, complex formulas, V-Look Ups and combining multiple cells of data • Good verbal and written communication skills • Be able to take accountability and influence matters • Well organised and apply a conscientious working approach • Show dedication and a pro-active, can do attitude and can think outside of the box • Up to date knowledge of legislation • Confident and able to work under pressure

Import Merchandiser Greater Manchester A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Import Merchandiser to join a well-established childrenswear client. This role requires you to have a sound knowledge and understanding of the critical path. You will be: Raising & maintaining purchase orders on the SAP system. Creating and managing the critical path. Attending internal fit meetings, with QA for each individual style, to check all PP samples, and Production samples for all details including fit, fabric cols, qualities, prints and trims. Updating and creating workbooks, for each order. Managing the critical path efficiently, by gaining approval of lab dips, bulk fabrics, knit downs, prints and trims, samples & labelling. Resolving any problems that may arise on a daily basis with suppliers. Checking all label & barcode layouts. Updating and maintaining supplier manuals. Checking and approving all invoices, and packing lists prior to shipment, and ensuring suppliers have made bookings for Freight, and approving vessel schedules will be met, and updating our shipping dept. Chasing to ensure goods are handed over on time, and meet the correct scheduled vessel. You will have: Fashion Degree or similar. At least 4 years' experience in a similar role working for a supplier. Experience managing the critical path. Competent user of Microsoft Office, in particular Outlook and Excel. Excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills.
